It was Saturday morning and my mission is run around city of Sydney. When I was in Barangaroo area in the CBD, I saw a little sign from far “Bourke Street Bakery”. I couldn’t hold the temptation to have a break. The name that I always trust for my almond pastry. I walked and go to approach the shop. Its on 4/23 Barangaroo Avenue, Sydney and they are open everyday. They are open Monday to friday from 7.00 am to 5.00pm, Saturday from 7.00 am to 4.00pm and Sunday from 8.00am to 4.00pm
The cafe is located at the corner and the outside seating were there and this Saturday morning wasn’t too busy..its a good seating in the middle of the office tower in the new area.
Order the coffee and my favourite at the counter inside. The full case was make me hungry and its a temptation to order more. They got many varieties and just waited quickly my coffee was already in my table. Good service and off course good quality of the bakery and coffee.
Comparing their latte and cappuccino is not a hard job..but I can tell the barista was great and used the right temp for the latte than others.. 60C …. 70 C, who is care? They are good for my break.
The Burke Street Bakery, as they are a bakery, they are selling the loaf bread, pastry and savoury as well.. unfortunately not today as I should continue my exercise.
Just enjoying my Saturday running break with the delicious almond croissant and cappuccino for me. Its time to continue my running again…….
