The chocolate…the dessert and the drinks…. The Lindt cafe is the enjoyable place for chocolate. As we know the Lindt chocolate is one of the famous chocolate in a world, along the story, there is more than 150 years in the market and the brand is getting stronger as they always maintain the quality and invent some varieties of chocolate.
The dark side had happened in this place on 15-16 December 2014, the Lindt cafe shop at Martin Place, Sydney was terrorised, the crews and the visitors were held by the lone gunman for more than 16 hours. The incident caused three people died, including the gunman. It was a sad moment for Sydney and the world.
The shop reopened and busy as usual and I always come back to this place because one word; the chocolate is great.
The cafe interior is great and huge, its an old style building at 53 Martin Place, Sydney. the location just crossed of the Channel 7 Studio Sydney CBD and close to Martin Place Station. The building is at the corner and you will not miss it.
From the menu I could see there are many varieties of chocolate drinks and dessert.

Layers of frangelico soaked vanilla bean cake and roasted nuts separated by gianduja (hazelnut and chocolate paste), covered in dark chocolate ganache.
ORANGE DECADENCE CAKE
Layers of orange milk chocolate mousse and almond sponge cake studded with Lindt Excellence and orange peel finished with a delicate dark chocolate glaze.
VELOUR CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE
Lindt Excellence 70% dark chocolate cheesecake on a freshly baked biscuit base.
A layered cake of dark chocolate ganache, coffee buttercream and almond sponge.
MANGO & CREAM CAKE
Sweet mango, almond praline and silky white chocolate mousse between thin layers of almond sponge, finished with a luscious white chocolate glaze.
The promotion is in the menu. You can get the cake with tea or coffe for AUD$14, its a bargain.
The cappuccino is here, I took a sip and It was not bad.. they are offering the good grade coffee in here, then the shredded chocolate at the top, just make the taste better.
The one that surprise me was the Signature beverages, two kinds of their signature beverages offered. Its a Signature Hot Chocolate and Lindt Mocha. from the menu, the drinks were tempted. The Signature Hot Chocolate is our choice for today. Its finest flowing Lindt milk or dark chocolate, combined with freshly frothed milk for a pure chocolate indulgence. The melted dark chocolate in a small cup and the freshly frothed milk…. You just need to mix the melted chocolate poured with the frothed milk and stir them well. Its a nice drink.. The mixture is great and the chocolate drink is one of the best creation from the lindt Cafe.
