Sundays Beach Club, Bali

So many times I had heard about the “A piece of Paradise” where everyday is a Sunday from my fellow Aussies in Bali. When I came back to my hotel, I asked and was given information about a beach club around Uluwatu, Bali.

This club is open from 8.00 am to 22.00 pm with an entrance fee of Rp.300,000 (AUD$28) for adult and Rp.50,000 (AUD$4.30) for Child. In my mind, I thought this is pretty pricey for enjoying a beach in Bali. However, the price includes Rp. 150,000 credit for food/beverages as well as other facilities that you can enjoy inside the beach club.

The next day, I decided to visit this piece of paradise. The driver drove me to the Jalan Pantai Selatan Gau Banjar Wijaya Kusuma in Ungasan area, Uluwatu, Bali

At the entrance, the lovely staff was welcoming and guided me to a little inclinator ride down the cliff to the beach. Slowly but surely, the lift brought down us to the security gate before entering the beach. I paid the entrance fee and headed for a bag check for a security check as well as making sure that I didn’t bring any food and drinks into the club. If you happen to have food and drink with you, you should leave them with the security and you can take them back on the way out.

Wow… When I looked at the beach and the beach, it was really a piece of paradise with bean bags set up along the beach with umbrella. You can enjoy the whole day and relax under the sun. There are many activities available such as kayaking, snorkeling, paddling. As well as that, there is free wi-fi and towel that are included in the entrance fee.

The restaurant is in the middle of the beach and its a nice place dine with an ocean view. The price is reasonable for a beach club and the taste is excellent with a nice beach surrounding.

I ordered the burger with 100% Aussie beef burger with smoked
cheddar – onions – pickles and Sundays special sauce and chips for around Rp.170,000 (AUD $15)

The Pizza is great, a nice dough and good filling for Rp. 130,000 (AUD$11) and the fish and chips wasn’t too bad. Enjoying The juice in this wheather, you can feel the freshness from the tropical fruits for Rp.70,000 (AUD$ 5.50) is a good refreshment for the day.

So, its a right why the Sundays Beach Club called a “Piece of Paradise”, come and visit the Sundays Beach Club when you are in Bali, you will indulge yourself the whole day with air blue, foods and nice surrounding.
